ONLINE ENGLISH CONVERSATION CLASSES
Welcome to Joann Sensei's Online English Conversation Classes!
In October 2014, I began accepting students who want to practice English conversation with an American ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher. I have nearly 20 years' experience as an English tutor in Asia. I've taught Thais, Vietnamese, Koreans and Japanese. Because the majority of my students have been Japanese, I have a special interest in continuing to help my Japanese friends and their children keep the English speaking skills they have developed when they return to Japan.
So, I'm offering my time through Skype calls on Monday and Tuesday mornings (and early afternoons) and Friday afternoons and early evenings. There is a 2-hour time difference between Japan and here, so right now, these times are what I have available. As my schedule allows it, I will post additional available times.

Skype is free and easy to install. Here's the link: http://www.skype.com/ja/
If your computer or laptop or tablet has a built-in camera, microphone and speakers, you don't need any other equipment. Otherwise, you can add a webcam and headset to improve the quality of the call. The camera isn't as important as the headset (or microphone and speakers, if that's what you use) as hearing clearly is more important than seeing.
